Multi-crew Co-operation Course

This JAA-approved MCC course is designed to provide you with all the team skills you will need to work effectively on modern-day flight decks in a multi-crew environment.

The course develops aircraft crew co-operation, flight deck management, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and flight safety. Standard operating procedures during the different flight conditions you may face are covered, including standard, non-standard and emergency flights. Emergency drills will be conducted in full. For example, in the event of a practice engine failure the engine will be shutdown following the appropriate checklist.

The simulator is modelled on a A109/FNPT2/IFR/MCC. The flight deck faithfully replicates that of the aircraft with functional systems and instrumentation. The flight model provides convincing handling and performance characteristics and realism is further enhanced by a wide-angle visual system projected on a wrap-around screen.

The course consists of 25 hours classroom and 20 hours simulator training, with 10 hours as PF (pilot flying) and 10 hours as PNF (pilot not flying). The course is scheduled to take 12 working days. There is no skill test, a JAA Approved Course Completion Certificate will be issued.

In addition to achieving the MCC course qualification, you will also gain invaluable time in the simulator.
